Staff are incredibly compassionate. My dog is usually terrified of the vet, but they are so patient and gentle, making her feel safe. They put the animals first and don’t take advantage by overcharging. My dog has been cared for here for 5 years and we love Hoffman!

I had a very disappointing experience at this vet clinic. I brought my cat in expecting basic care and professionalism, but instead was met with extremely poor customer service. The technician, Tienne, was incredibly rude and had a very abrupt, dismissive attitude from the start. It felt like any questions or concerns I had were an inconvenience to her. There was no sense of compassion or patience, which is the bare minimum you expect when bringing in a pet you care about. The overall service felt rushed and unwelcoming, and the negative attitude completely ruined the experience. I would not recommend this place based on how I was treated. Customer service matters, especially in a setting where people are already stressed about their pets.

Randomly started requiring deposits for care and does not give refunds even with enough notice. Staff asking each other what their policy was but refused to look it up. Will never go back. (update below) - UPDATE: AFTER OWNER RESPONSE. 2/3 of the missed appointments were because the pet passed away. But the problem is that Hoffman Vet will not refund deposits or prepayments even if given enough notice. if hoffman vet keeps the money regardless, then there is no point to even give notice.. Same if i had covid, i would have to go to the appointment or loose the money.. I did notice the owners response left out the part about them keeping the money regardless of notice, which was the whole concern. it wasn't that deep of a situation. If i give enough notice according to your policy, i expect a refund. if i do not give notice, then you can keep the money.

The staff was great minus one lady with a power trip. She's rude and has no compassion for the owners that are worried. She's disrespectful and doesn't deserve to be in the position she's in. I will be pursuing legal action. I went to check on my dog that was in emergency surgery after losing almost all her pups. She was rude and gave no info tokd me she knew nothing and i could leave and wait for a call. I then asked for my puppies back and they refused and said that's not happening.... they were living. She called the police on me and then was made to give me my puppies anyways. Never going back there! Disgusting behavior. The rest of the staff was great though.
